Walks:

Birnam Walk A lovely walk along the banks of the River Tay past the Birnam Oak so famous in Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

The Hermitage An interesting walk along the river Braan. Take in a spectacular waterfall, some of the largest trees in Britain and walk through a variety of woodland to Ossian’s cave home of the giant!

Loch Ordie Uphill from Butterstone to this beautiful loch. Wildlife in abundance.

The Dunkeld Larches Short ramble along a riverside, woodland path on the doorstep.

Birnam Hill Fairly strenuous walk climbing to over 1000 feet with spectacular views.
